1. Mechanic

Elephant Bikes is seeking an experienced and capable cicycle mechanic to join its small team. The company is a registered charity refurbishing bikes – mainly former Royal Mail bikes – that it sells in the UK to raise funds to ship more bikes to Africa. The successful applicant will work under Elephant Bikes’ workshop manager to strip down old bikes, assess parts, clean and refurbish and then following powder-coating, re-assemble to bike to the highest possible standards. 2. Technical training officer
Re~Cycle’s technical training officer, a newly created post within the African Programmes team, will be responsible for identifying the specific technical assistance needed at current and future programme sites before introducing those spaces, resources and training. This is to ensure partner organisations are aptly equipped to receive and distribute bicycles, and transfer necessary skills and tools to practicing bicycle mechanics, aspiring new learners and first time bicycle owners. The ideal candidate will have an excellent working knowledge of bicycle repair and maintenance, as well as experience in leading, facilitating or being a part of a community or retail based team through mechanic training and qualification. 3. Workshop team leader
A vacancy has arisen for a workshop team leader to run the workshop operation at Gorilla Coffee Café. The position requires an experienced cycle mechanic who has also had experience of purchasing, budget management, staff management and customer engagement. The role is customer facing and very diverse. Primarily focused on undertaking cycle repairs, the role will at times require the candidate to meet with corporate clients, run workshops and engage with cycling groups. 4. Sales mechanic
50Cycles is looking for a new sales mechanic who will be responsible for the smooth running of the company workshop and must be able to complete relevant service work as required. This will include working closely with the team to ensure the customer is kept up to date and jobs are completed on time. They will also be ready to work in the 50Cycles showroom and deploy their charm and knowledge to help customers select between the most exciting e-bikes available anywhere. 5. Cycling holiday representatives
BSpoke Tours and Cycling for Softies offers cycling and walking tours throughout some of Europe’s most beautiful regions. Uniquely, the company has ridden or walked every route and each has been carefully crafted by someone who loves cycling and walking as much as our clients do. BSpoke Tours is looking for new cycle holiday representatives who share its passion for the great outdoors to join its overseas teams in France, Germany and Italy.
