1. Pre and post sales customer support
Gocycle is about to launch its new GS model and the brand is expanding its customer pre and post-sales support team in preparation for an exciting 2018. Core responsibilities will include providing pre and post-sales customer support and technical assistance via phone, e-mail, and other electronic media such as video service documentation, providing after sales support to the sales team, including contacting new customers and end consumers by phone, attending trade shows, and providing product setup and sales training resources, visiting customers and resellers when required to offer training, sales and product support. 2. Deputy store manager
Rutland Cycling is looking for a new deputy store manager to join its team. In this key role, the successful applicant will be assisting the store manager to effectively manage and maintain its profitable and sales driven Giant Concept store, located on the shore line of Rutland Water. Working closely with all team members, they will be responsible for delivering excellent customer care both in the workshop and on the sales floor. To fulfil this role, the successful candidate will have a strong sales background, ideally gained within the cycle industry, including management of a team of staff, with the ability to deliver on store KPI’s, as well as the achievement of budgeted sales and profit targets. 3. Photographer and videographer
The Sigma Sport photographer and videographer will be responsible for producing studio and lifestyle imagery and videos for cycling and triathlon products. This position requires a critical eye for photography and video. A diverse catalogue presents an opportunity to demonstrate technical ability across a variety of product and set types. The successful candidate will be expected to liaise with key stakeholders and photograph items received to the studio, deploy styling and lighting that best informs product, identify relevant product details to photograph and deliver post-shoot image editing to enhance product appeal. 4. E-commerce executive
Wheelbase is looking for an efficient and motivated individual with a passion for cycling to join the team in its busy and expanding mail order department. The job will include offering first class customer service to all Wheelbase’s mail order customers, processing orders swiftly and efficiently through its brand new Wordpress website, delivering prompt and lively communication on the phone and via the company’s live chat and social media channels, working closely with its purchasing, stock control and workshop teams and assisting the ecommerce team with web content, blogging and social media. 5. Area sales manager
Extra UK, the dedicated bicycle parts and accessories distributor of such brands as Fizik, Brooks, Topeak, Ergon, Clif, Cane Creek, Time and Maxxis, is seeking to recruit an area sales manager. With a minimum of two years’ experience in exceeding sales targets and reporting to the national sales manager, the candidate will be ideally located in or around Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire or Essex. Existing skills will ideally have been developed from within the cycle industry and include the ability to communicate at all levels,  effective presentation skills, an ability to develop and maintain relationships, strong commercial acumen and efficient management of their time.
