UCI execs can't be called "fools, liars or corrupt"...by a doper

UCI execs can't be called

The UCI has won a court case against admitted doper Floyd Landis. The disgraced rider had made accusations against UCI's current and former presidents, Pat McQuaid and Hein Verburggen.

Landis, who did not defend himself, has to pay for adverts in a variety of newspapers, blogs and news sites.

The court ruling - which can be downloaded via the UCI - is going viral on the internet, with cycle sport fans incredulous at paragraph two of the ruling.

This states that Landis must no longer claim that McQuaid and Verbruggen "have concealed cases of doping, received money for doing so, have accepted money from Lance Armstrong to conceal a doping case, have protected certain racing cyclists, concealed cases of doping, have engaged in manipulation, particularly of tests and races, have hesitated and delayed publishing the results of a positive test on Alberto Contador, have accepted bribes, are corrupt, are terrorists, have no regard for the rules, load the dice, are fools, do not have a genuine desire to restore discipline to cycling, are full of shit, are clowns, their words are worthless, are liars, are no different to Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, or to make any similar other allegations of that kind."

On social media the ruling is being relayed as "comedy", "never thought the UCI could make me laugh this hard" and "the UCI is French for the gift that keeps giving."
