Visijax appoints Kevin Burton as National Sales Manager

Visijax is pleased to announce that Kevin Burton is now building on brand development, expanding distribution of the award-winning LED range of jackets and accessories in the UK.

Previously with Madison, Endura and the BIKE Channel, Burton commented: “I am very pleased and excited. Positive feedback from initial stockist visits indicates there is huge potential for dealers to offer consumers fantastic, unique products that improve visibility while cycling."

"I’ve been in the cycle industry for twenty years and seen a lot of innovation, but this truly is a simple, obvious idea – motion-sensing turn-signals and powerful lights embedded in a washable garment. It's quite complex to produce, yet Visijax has managed this, selling the product worldwide. Commuting is on the increase, with cyclists wanting to use roads more frequently. The breathable, waterproof LED Visijax range helps people to feel safer and to ride confidently. The great thing is that a cyclist isn’t asked to alter riding style: just switch on and go.

"Great dealer margins are available, backed by POS resources and, due to strong demand, additional sales agents are sought to expand retailer support nationwide."

The Leicestershire-based consumer products subsidiary of Wearable Technologies (WTL) designs consumer, workwear and emergency service ranges with washable embedded electronics – LEDs, sensors, and connectivity – for use while cycling or running. Visijax considers itself to be a leader in the rapidly emerging intelligent clothing category. With manufacturing in China, offices in London and New York, the company distributes in six countries, shipping worldwide, and will showcase its range at the NEC Cycle Showin September. Burton urges interested parties to visit the Visijax stand, which is located at F9.
