Maxim has a range of food and drink product designed by women, for women. The range includes several protein, carbohydrate and mineral filled drink mixes and fruit bars, as well as various rapid recovery options.The nutritious recovery range combines carbohydrates with high quality proteins. These bars and drinks are designed for use up to one hour after exercise to assist muscle recuperation.New to the range comes a Whey 100 protein drink recipe. The powder can be mixed with either milk or water and will give the consumer a mighty 48 grams of protein per 400ml mix. The Whey 100 mix comes in three flavours and has a much lower fat content than many existing products.The pre-exercise range includes both an energy mix and a 'carbo cake:' The cake contains a 100 gram serving of carbohydrates and comes in two flavours, while the powder mix gives you 58 grams of carbs per serving and is an ideal way to enhance hot drinks.The range of bars available through Fisher come in both real fruit and chocolate flavours.

TORQ

TORQ specialises in performance nutrition products; all products have been painstakingly formulated from all-natural ingredients, and Fair-Trade fruit, and are made in the UK. Nutrition for ‘health’ is at the heart of its philosophy, so it sees no point in including artificial ingredients in its products. Isostar has an extensive range of gels, powder mixes and dissolvable tablets, for both pre and post exercise. The Carb Boom energy gels are made from highly concentrated complex carbohydrates and are flavoured with real fruit. Each sachet consists of a blend of 22 to 25 grams of maltodextrin and just two to four grams of simple sugars, meaning the mix is highly palatable and gentle on the stomach.Five flavours are available and each is packaged in a 41-gram easy tear, foil sachet. Flavours include Strawberry Kiwi, Banana Peach, Apple Cinnamon, Banana Peach and Vanilla Orange, which contains a 50mg dose of caffeine.Alternatively from Isostar, the Hydro Boom sachets are packed with electrolytes, carbohydrates and water. Both lemon and orange flavours are available.

ZYM

ZYM was introduced into the UK market late in 2007 by Lambda Sports. NUUN

Nuun is a refreshing, portable, electrolyte replacement system. A tube of nuun contains 12 tablets. Simply drop one tablet into 500ml of water and you have a perfectly balanced electrolyte drink - no sugar, no calories just pure electrolytes - great tasting and easy to use.
