Distributor 2Pure has announced the appointment of new sales manager Blair Whiteside.
Within his new role as sales manager, Whiteside will take over the management of the 2pure territory account managers and will become the new account manager for the North, Scotland and Ireland. Having worked at some of the most renowned UK distributors, many of 2Pure’s retailers will already be familiar with Whiteside in a sales capacity.
2Pure managing director George Bowie said: “I am excited to have Blair join the 2pure team. Having worked together in the past, his sales skills are exemplary and the rest of the sales team can learn a lot from him. It will give 2pure a greater sales focus moving forward.
“Blair brings a wealth of sales and sales management experience, and is also strategic in his thinking. He will use this to help with sales planning and delivery – something we have already noticed in the short couple of weeks since he officially took up his new position.”
Whiteside added: “I am excited to be joining 2Pure and am looking forward to a new challenge. I know a lot of the team very well so already feel like part of the crew.”
Whiteside’s first job in the bicycle trade was when he was just 14, lacing up wheels for his local bike shop. Since then, he has worked most of his life in his bicycle trade in various roles from in the local bike shop, bike shops in Australia, Halfords store’s and Halfords HQ before his first ASM role approximately 15 years ago.
