Core Bike, In association with BikeBiz, runs from Sunday January 28th to Tuesday January 30th. It’s to be staged at Whittlebury Hall, near Northampton.
This is a posh hotel with a funky spa.
The Core Bike exhibitors are: Silverfish, Hope, Garmin, Extra, Windwave, Ison, Upgrade, Paligap, Fox and Chicken.
Simon Watts of SiWis will be at the show demo-ing iBikeshop.
Show organisers say IBD visitors will be able to rub shoulders with industry big-wigs from Easton, Mavic, Race Face, Rohloff, Oval, Marzocchi and many others. There is also a comprehensive series of technical seminars ranging from correct chainguide installation on DH rigs to aerodynamics, comfort, positioning and fit.
Norco is to set-up its North Shore test rig so if you ever fancied nailing skinnies, now’s your chance.
Pre-registrations are up 60 per cent on 2006 with over 400 IBDs already registered to attend. The hotel is filling up fast with room availability down to single figures.
The closing date for pre-registration is 23rd January but "we cannot guarantee entry to the show without pre-registration and you might miss out on a free lunch," said Darren Mabbott of Silverfish.
"If you want to wing it and register on-site, please bring proof of IBD status and be prepared to queue.
