absoluteBLACK appoints Extra as exclusive UK distributor

absoluteBLACK has penned an exclusive agreement with Extra UK to distribute its range of chainrings and components in the UK and Ireland.

The agreement sees Extra UK take over distribution from Velotech Services with immediate effect.

“absoluteBLACK products are in ever-increasing demand from both dealers and consumers,” said Marcin Golec, absoluteBLACK founder. “For us, to meet important dealer expectations such as constant product availability, quick delivery and sales/marketing support, we need to partner with the best distributors in each market. Our new co-operation with Extra UK is another logical step in expansion which will greatly benefit dealers in UK and Ireland.”

Head of brands Extra UK Mark Greshon added: “I’ve used absoluteBLACK chainrings on my own bikes for a couple of years so I’ve experienced the quality and performance of the products first hand. It’s great to be able to add such a forward-thinking brand to the Extra UK offering and I’m already looking forward to launching the new products they have in the pipeline.”

“For dealers interested in stocking absoluteBLACK, we’ve come up with some great stock-in promotions including demo chainrings, brand champions and point of sale material,” he added.

The distributor already has a range of absoluteBLACK products in stock and ready for immediate delivery, with more stock arriving over the next few weeks.
