ACT to reveal leading Cytech qualified cycle shops

The Association of Cycle Traders (ACT) is set to reveal the top Cytech-qualified cycle shops next month.

The Cytech Top 50, to be published on Tuesday December 1st, will list cycle shops based on the number and level of Cytech qualifications held in store. The list will then be published quarterly, promoting cycle retailers that have invested in their staff and services through the Cytech training and accreditation scheme.

Retailers in the listing will receive an emblem to use in their own marketing, plus consumer promotion via the ACT’s website and PR activity to cycle media. Shops making the top 10 will receive a special gold emblem and certificate.

Mark Brown from the ACT commented: “We already promote all 533 retailers who have Cytech accredited staff but felt that a Top 50 would reward those who have invested most whilst demonstrating that Cytech is the industry’s true standard. It’s also a nice way to create a bit of interest and friendly rivalry amongst stores.”
