adidas becomes ‘official outfitter’ of GB Cycling Team

The Great Britain Cycling Team will wear their new adidas apparel for the first time during the World Track Championships in Los Angeles, 24th to 27th March.

Dave Brailsford, British Cycling’s performance director, said: "adidas’ long term commitment to the GB Cycling Team is further evidence of the progress we are making and our standing as a nation in cycling. We believe that adidas’ expertise can make a significant contribution to the tam as we seek to fulfil our ambition to be the number one cycling nation."

adidas recently signed an endorsement deal with Athens gold, silver and bronze medallist Bradley Wiggins and is the official outfitter of both the French and German cycling federations.

Mavic is also part of the adidas-Salomon group.
