It's a pair of apps for dumb cyclists.

Apple launches iDeaf and uDead

During a multi-hour drool over at Apple.com – yesterday the Californian company launched a USB flash iPod and a cheap, sexy headless Mac for PC switchers – it was surprising to find cycling in favour at Cupertino.

The iPod shuffle is the size of a pack of chewing gum and the Apple site – dribble, dribble – reckons it’ll get used by cyclists:

"If you favor cycling to a hip-hop soundtrack…Autofill a specific iTunes Playlist to your iPod shuffle and roll."

Er, underneath the wheels of an HGV?

Surely nobody cycles with earphones in? ‘Course they do, but they’re nuts.

Anyway, here’s drool-central:

Get your credit card out. Bikebiz.com bought iLife 05 and iWork 05, the real apps just launched by Apple.
