Chain store highlights why it's probably best to buy from a dedicated store this Christmas

Argos Christmas TV advert re-ignites ‘bicycle shaped object’ debate

The latest television advert from Argos has highlighted why it’s probably best to buy a bike from a specialist this Christmas.

Typical of ‘bicycle shaped object’ mistakes, the front forks are fitted backwards in the advert. It also appears that the pedals do not carry reflectors.

Bizarrely, the national chain has a dedicated ‘do it yourself’ video‘ of how to put together a bike, in which the assembly of the front end is all done correctly.
