Since its founding date in 1961, Austrian bike brand Simplon has gone from strength to strength, now in its third generation as a family business.
Based at its manufacturing site at Lake Constance, in the same general area as the Eurobike show, Simplon has for many years been established as one of mainland Europe’s premium bike manufacturers. Previously not available outside the German-speaking countries, the company is now heading for the UK with a 2017 line-up that they hope will grab the attention of road cyclists, mountain bikers, commuters and leisure cyclists alike.
Renowned for high-quality riding bikes, and manufacturing based on individual customer order, Simplon is bringing its race proven pedigree to premium stores in the UK, with a road range that offers something for everyone. The company offers riders the chance to fully customise their bikes – road, MTB, e-bike or leisure – via an online configurator, with almost 100,000 options in total to choose from. This ensures that you get the exact bike you want delivered within a few days to your local Simplon dealer. All you have to do is go and ride your new bike!
The Simplon range will be on display on stand D47 at the Cycle Show in September. Details of the new 2017 bikes can be viewed in the preview section of the website and the relaunched online configurator will be ready to show the new products in early October. the brand welcomes conversations with premium bicycle retailers across the UK who may be interested in partnering with them. The Simplon team will also be available on Cycle Show trade day to discuss how they can work with retailers in the UK.
