Tourist board, promoting cycling in the territory, gets behind the CMAs

Austrian National Tourist Office to back Cycling Media Awards

The Austrian National Tourist Office has signed up to support the debut Cycling Media Awards.

Amongst other things, the Office promotes cycling in the country, through idyllic scenery and areas like Tirol, one of Europe’s most popular cycling regions. The Austrian National Tourist Office is category sponsor for the Coverage in a Health and Fitness Magazine award at the event.

Taking place later this week, the Cycling Media Awards celebrate journalism and the cycle media not only across specialist titles, but also national newspapers, online, broadcast, lifestyle media and mainstream magazines.

A spokesman said: "Cycling offers a great and easy way to go around town and do something for your health and fitness at the same time. In Austria you will find an almost unlimited choice of cycle and mountain bike paths and tours for all ages and interests. Therefore, we – the Austrian National Tourist Office – are happy to support the CMA’s. We wish all the nominees ‘Good luck’!"

The awards evening takes place tomorrow on Thursday October 16th at The Bloomsbury Ballroom, London. You can grab a ticket, priced at £75 each, from this site (use discount code CMA25). Tickets include free food and drink.
