Bike Connection Summer, the second media-industry event organised by Bike Connection Agency, is set to stage its second event, given the success of the first held last February, with eight brands and 14 journalists in attendance.
It will take place from 18th-21st June in Les Gets, France, and will lead into the final European stop for Crankworx, the world’s largest MTB festival series.
“We are very pleased with the great mix of brands that are attending our summer event,” commented Giulio Neri, founder of Bike Connection Agency. “Bell, Bluegrass, Formula, Hebo, Marin, MET, RockShox and SRAM are joining us to introduce new products and meet with 14 journalists from nine different countries.
“That’s exactly the goal we had last year when we launched our event platform: connect media and brands in an efficient and effective way, beyond the constraints of mass events or traditional media launches.”
The event will follow a similar format to Bike Connection Winter, with individual meetings between companies and media in the mornings and then allocated time for test riding in the afternoons on the trails of Les Gets. All participants in the event will also be able to view the first two days of Crankworx competitions from a VIP hosting area.
Bike Connection Agency is also announcing a preview of its offering for 2019, which in addition to the two mountain bike and e-MTB focused events in winter and summer will also feature an all-new road and gravel focused event. The dates and details for the 2019 Bike Connection events will be presented before and during Eurobike 2018 in July.
