CSG revives the url with editorial-led site

BMX.com is back

Cycling Sports Group’s BMX editorial efforts saw the launch a BMX ‘Magalogue’ last year and now the firm has revived BMX.com

CSG had the domain parked for years and it has been a long held ambition of cycle media guru Mark Noble to help resurrect it with an all-new BMX website – which the firm finally got started on this year.

Noble told BikeBiz: "I worked with Faine, one of our designers here, on the creative, the look and feel – Faine also designed the RIDE/FREE magazine we put together at the end of last year for riders and dealers.

"We repurposed the editorial and all the bike and product reviews from RIDE/FREE on to the new BMX.COM website for starters, so from the outset it’s a large resource of BMX product reviews and images. I update the site all the time with product editorial and content that relates to our brands, our team riders, and anything that helps support and promote our brands first and foremost – all as a rider-focussed, editorial package."

The website is designed as being mobile first, so is fully responsive and works on all platforms. Noble added: "It is socnet connected, and it loads fast – with a no-nonsense approach to design and functionality, photographs and video looks great on it, editorial and reviews are to the point. It’s live now, and it’ll only grow and grow. Feedback so far has been very positive, and we’ve only just started."
