Five year-old event expands to two days for 2012

Bookings up at extended Bike Blenheim Palace

Bookings for the newly enlarged Bike Blenheim Palace are well up on previous years, the show organiser has told BikeBiz.

For the first time, Bike Blenheim Palace – now in its fifth year – will be a two-day event over August 18th and 19th.

BBP includes the Brompton World Championship, plus a 20km time trial and Breast Cancer Care’s Pink Ribbonride sportives.

Bookings are reportedly up over 500 per cent on 2011. The Event Village exhibitors currently number over 40, with well over 100 brands present at the event for visitors to engage with.

The Oxfordshire event attracts a cycling focused and family crowd, plus around 4,500 participants in eight different events and a new 40km off road sportive for the first time (see video below). The picturesque setting includes a cycling trade and retail expo in the Event Village.

Bikesoup’s Antony Auty said: "Bike Blenheim Palace offers a fantastic opportunity for companies of all sizes at a world class venue in a very accessible location. Within reason, we can cater for all needs, big or small, and we have plenty of space for customer demo rides at the venue too."

Exhibitor packs, booking forms and further information are all available from Antony Auty directly on 07920 008824 or email: aa@bikesoup.co.uk
