Government's Foresight report on mental well-being says mending your bike is good for the brain.

The UK’s Government’s Foresight report on mental well-being, published today, says activities such as gardening or learning how to mend your own bike, are key ways to keep the mind active, and stave off mental illness.

The think-tank’s Mental Capital and Wellbeing report suggests people should take up new social and personal activities, with fixing bikes second on the list.
