Bosch eBike Systems exhibiting MY2020 range at Cycle Show

Bosch eBike Systems will exhibit its full range of new model year 2020 (MY2020) products and offer exclusive test rides to visitors at the Cycle Show, NEC, Birmingham.

It will give visitors the opportunity to ride the latest e-bikes and try out the handling and safety benefits of the unique ABS system on two bespoke test tracks. Bosch will also showcase all its latest products, from the eMTB specific Performance Line CX drive unit and the high capacity new PowerTube 625 integrated battery, to the compact colour Kiox display and the networked SmartphoneHub control centre.

The MY2020 products being showcased are:

Performance Line CX
Designed specifically for e-MTB, Performance Line CX is “light and compact yet extremely powerful and efficient, with up to 340% support – for even more agility and control over the bike and increased riding enjoyment on the trails”.

PowerTube 625
The compact Bosch PowerTubes can be neatly and securely integrated within the e-bike, horizontally or vertically. The new PowerTube 625 has rated capacity of 16.7 Ah and approx 625 Wh energy content.

Kiox onboard computer
Kiox is the compact colour display that connects e-bikers with the digital world. Riding and fitness data can be recorded and downloaded wirelessly, and other features include an integrated ABS status indicator and electronic lock.

SmartphoneHub
The SmartphoneHub and the COBI.Bike app connects the e-bike to the digital world – for navigation, music streaming, fitness tracking, and more – and is easily integrated with other services and apps such as Strava or komoot.

Other Bosch eBike Systems products on show
As well as the Performance Line CX, PowerTube 625, Kiox computer and SmartphoneHub, Bosch eBike Systems will also be exhibiting other e-bike products and technologies including the COBI.Bike app, Active Line drive unit and PowerTube 500 integrated battery.

The Bosch eBike Test Track is now extended with a full outdoor trail and can be ridden by any type of MTB, Bosch has said. The new 1.7km outdoor Bosch eBike Systems MTB Test Track has been specially designed by Kye Forte. Test rides are free of charge to the Cycle Show visitors and a wide range of sizes and styles of bikes are available. Visitors can sign up at the Test Track, and under-16s are welcome with a parent or guardian.

The Bosch eBike ABS Test Track returns for a second year at the NEC. Test rides are free and visitors can simply sign up at the Test Track.
