Bosch to engage with editors at Utah’s Bike PressCamp

Bosch of Germany (which was founded in the 19th century by a cyclist) is to get bike editors to trial its new
"Performance Line" of pedelec system at Bike PressCamp, taking place June 16th – 20th at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah.

At PressCamp Summer, Bosch eBike Systems will provide attending media with information about its new Performance Line mid-motor drive system, and demo opportunities of the system on Haibike and Lapierre bikes.

"The unique format of PressCamp allows us to have one-on-one meetings in a calm environment, without distraction," said Claudia Wasko, Business Unit Leader of Bosch eBike Systems in the US.

At PressCamp, journalists from more than 30 mainstream and cycling-endemic publications meet individually with exhibiting companies and ride bikes featuring their products.

"It’s an event like no other, especially for a client like Bosch that’s introducing a new system," said Lance Camisasca, president of Lifeboat Events, the company behind PressCamp. "I think it’s a perfect fit."

The Performance Line mid-motor drive system features three sensors to monitor torque, power and speed to provide the optimum amount of pedal assist at any given moment.
