Brompton race returns to Prudential RideLondon ‘18

The eight-lap circuit around St James’ Park starts on The Mall and takes in Buckingham Palace. The race starts with a Le Mans-style dash, with entrants unfolding their Bromptons before taking on the 16km circuit. The first rider to cross the finish line ends the race and takes home a 2018 BWC special edition bike.

Registration for the race is now open, and will close at 1700 on Monday, February 05. The Brompton World Championship final is limited to 550 riders and these will be chosen by a random draw. Enter the ballot here https://www.prudentialridelondon.co.uk/brompton/

The entry fee is £50.00. Successful registrants will be informed by email no later than Monday, February 05.

This is the fourth time the Brompton World Championship Final has been part of the Mayor of London’s cycling festival. Last year saw riders from 26 different countries take part in the race with thousands of spectators watching in St James’s Park. Joining last year’s line-up was ex-professional cyclist David Millar and radio and TV presenter OJ Borg.

Earlier in the day, Brompton will also be hosting a large bike demonstration area and giving participants the opportunity to try a Brompton Electric as part of Prudential RideLondon FreeCycle.
