London manufacturer brings out 6 new colours for 2015

Brompton updates bike range for first time in 4 years

London’s folding bike company Brompton Bicycle is mixing up its colour palette with six brand new additions, designed to tap into its increasingly youthful and urban customer base.

The new colours, which are split between a zesty and youthful, and classic offering, are the first update to the range in four years.

The colours are: Berry Crush, Lagoon Blue, Lime Green, Ivory, Cherry Blossom and Tempest Blue.

“The Brompton is made for cities so it’s as suited to Tokyo as it is to London, where we still make every bike," said Will Butler-Adams, Brompton MD.

"Coming up with the new colour range, we listened to customer feedback as well as looking ahead at what colours we’re going to see in our cities in the next few years. We think these new colours will encourage even more people to find a combination that matches their personality and with every Brompton made for you, the possibilities are endless.”

The new colours fall into two categories: three ‘Brights’: Berry Crush, Lagoon Blue, Lime Green, and three ‘Classics’: Ivory, Cherry Blossom and Tempest Blue. They will join the seven colours staying in the range: Black, White, Red, Orange, Turkish Green, Racing Green and Raw Lacquer.

The new colours will be available across all models and are available to order from November 2014.
