24 hours left to back See.Sense's thrice-funded Kickstarter campaign

See.Sense has so far raised £72,000 for its second Kickstarter campaign
Publish date:

The second Kickstarter campaign from LED maker See.Sense of Belfast finishes tomorrow. To date 861 backers have pledged £72,129, three times the original target of £24,000.

ICON, the second generation light from See.Sense, is an "intelligent" light that flashes faster at intersections or when it senses a following car.

And if you’re on a street with lots of potholes, the light can let the city know," said See.Sense co-founder Philip McAleese.

The new light – which is rechargeable – will be available in November, including from certain retail outlets.

The first See.Sense light was also launched via a Kickstarter campaign, raising £33,826 in 2013.
