Tropical Punch flavoured Shot Blocks and a White Chocolate Macadamia Luna Bar are the latest products from Clif Bar, supplied to the UK trade by 2pure.
The new products come alongside the long awaited arrival of the Shot Gels, delivering easily digestible carbs and electrolytes to athletes while racing and training.
Boasting a thin, smooth consistency and now four flavours, the gels have – Clif believes – fewer ingredients than other brands equivalent products. They make use of fast acting energy from maltodextrin and dried cane syrup. The range includes Chocolate, Citrus, Razz and Double Espresso.
The new Tropical Punch flavoured Shot Blocks are chewy, 33 calorie cubes packing a 25mg of caffeine punch. It joins the three existing flavours of Orange (with caffeine), Strawberry and Mountain Berry.
Clif has also launched an all-new White Chocolate Macadamia Luna Bar. Designed for women, by women, the Luna Bar has high levels of calcium, folic acid and iron. The new flavour joins Caramel Nut Brownie and Nuts Over Chocolate.
