Firm follows up Land Rover models with road-specific product

2×2 releases new road model range

2×2 Worldwide is set to bring a new road model line-up of bikes to the UK, with the first from the range arriving in three weeks.

According to the firm, the Race model is already 80 per cent pre-sold.

The Race model range follows 2×2’s Land Rover lines.

“We have been bowled over by the success of the commute and flat bar bikes in the 2010 Land Rover range launched last September," enthused 2×2 sales director Scott Hillyard.

"After constant prompting from our customer base we are now launching road specific product for 2010.

“I think a combination of our reputation for quality product and the key market positioning of this particular model have helped enormously.”

The Race features a lightweight 7005 Alu frame, carbon forks, 16-speed Shimano STI’s, Shimano chain set and Mavic rims and will retail for under £500.

Interested dealers should contact the firm at sales@2x2worldwide.com.
