"The demand to test-ride and buy these bikes is there," says MD Snaith

50 Cycles seeking Kalkhoff partners

Electric bike specialist 50 Cycles is seeking a number of retail partners to help meet the demand for the brand domestically.

As Germany’s largest volume seller and having shifted 80,000 units across Europe this year, Kalkhoff "has potential" in the UK according to MD Scott Snaith.

He told BikeBiz: "The UK will play a large part in this expansion and we will only meet the growing demand to test-ride and buy these bikes locally by sharing Kalkhoff’s pulling power with a network of carefully chosen dealers. The demand is there but we are simply unable to meet it alone."

Snaith adds that a three-fold growth in sales is expected by 2015.

"This is a final call to a select bunch of retailers who really believe they can sell high volumes of Electric Bikes. We will give you the tools necessary to ensure you sell more Kalkhoff bikes than any other electric bikes on the market or in your outlet."
