A bicycle makes it into TRU's top toy list

US chainstore giant Toys 'R' Us has released its annual hot-to-trot list of toys it believes will top children's wish lists at Christmas. 13 toys are named, including couch-potato video games and K'NEX construction kits. But which bicycle made the list?
Publish date:

The Schwinn Sting Ray, of course.

The Toys 'R' Us Joy List features more than 30 new toys organised by age from infants to big kids. From that list, 13 toys were selected as the overall best of the season.

John Barbour, president of Toys 'R' Us in the US, said:

"We know that there are toys - and then, there is the perfect toy. This is the toy that puts a look of pure joy on a child's face. Our experienced and toy-trained sales staff stand ready to help our customers find that perfect toy this holiday season."

One one of those 'toys' will be the Harley-aping Sting Ray.
