Ruth Casson has appointed a sales manager, added a new line of trailers and is aiming to be big in IBD-specific water bottle manufacturing. But, of course, what's more important is the scoop on the edible goodies she's giving away from her stand at the Harrogate and Sandown shows...

Amba expands (and so will waistlines)

The flapjacks are back, and in three varieties: plain, with cherries or with a choc-topping. New for this year is ginger bread. Meringues are also back in Amba’s expo product portfolio.

According to Casson, a home-cooking specialist, her best customers will also receive a take-home box of either flapjacks or ginger bread.

Other Amba news? Craig Prophett has joined as sales manager. He’ll be aiming to increase the number of IBD customers of Amba’s and will initially focus on boosting sales of Amba’s UK manufactured and printed water bottles. These come in three sizes: 0.5 litre, 0.75 litre and 1.0 litre and can be printed with club or shop colours and logos.

Amba has also linked up with German trailer specialist Zwei plus Zwei (Two plus Two) to offer the Chariot range of child-trailers from Canada.
