Italian fashion house adds its flare to tourer and singlespeed builds

Bianchi links with Gucci for two bike series

Bike maker Bianchi and fashion house Gucci have collaborated to produce a two bike line sporting the designer’s signature stripes.

Listed on Gucci’s US website, the touring model weighs in at a colossal $14,000, while the second, a single speed city bike, will set customers back $6,200.

The tourer comes built to last with a carbon frame and fork, hydraulic disc brake and a diamante styled handlebar. Gucci detailing is also present on the seat and frame. Meanwhile, the singlespeed features a hydrofromed steel frame.

The link up also features a number of accessories to complement the bicycles, such as a helmet, branded gloves and a water bottle. To buy the helmet separately you’ll be parting ways with $890.

As yet it appears only Gucci outets will be carrying stock, with the London branch the closest to home.
