Bike Pure to support Junior Tour of Wales

The RIS Insulation Junior Tour of Wales today became a member of Bike Pure – the charitable organisation that promotes clean, drug free cycle racing.

“We are absolutely delighted to be associated with Bike Pure,” said Talbot Thrush, race organiser. “Bike Pure is all about promoting good clean competition in cycling with the emphasis on rider centred safety and enjoyment. This is exactly what the Junior Tour of Wales Cycle Race wants for our competitors. We want to provide a prestigious race for our future champions that promotes the Bike Pure principles so we have signed up as a member.”

The Junior Tour of Wales runs from 28-30th August and this year celebrates its 30th year of competition and has been the launch pad for numerous professional cycling careers including Mark Cavendish, David Millar, Geraint Thomas, Charly Wegilius and Peter Kennaugh.
