Mason had worked at Cyclopedia for 10 years.
In a press release issued by Hertfordshire Constabulary, Mason’s mum said:
Christopher was caring, considerate and very popular. He had many friends and we have received a lot of support over the last week.
He could be very strong-willed and ran his life exactly how he wanted to, but he also had a wonderful sense of humour and was always willing to help out.
We would like to thank everyone who has offered their support: the hospital for the care they gave Christopher and the police for their help and support."
Mason was attacked by a man wearing a gold party hat. The attack is said to have been unprovoked.
