Liz Clarke scoops awards for most successful business in the Northwest

BikeRight! founder honoured

The founder behind BikeRight!, the enterprise that trains children and adults in safe on-road cycling, has been awarded with two accolades for Business of the Year and Growth Business of the Year.

The gongs were given as part of the Northwest Women in Business awards, which took place at Warrington at the end of last month.

BikeRight! was founded nine years ago as part of the government’s Bikeability scheme for on-road cycling.

BikeRight! managing director Liz Clarke praised her colleagues while collecting the award and said: “It’s been a long journey. We started from the basement of my house, and now we are training 11,000 children every year to ride safely on the roads.”
