BikeBiz has got its hands on a rapid prototype of BioLogic’s new bracket for its aluminium case for the iPhone 5. The Hard Case for iPhone 5 is waterproof and rugged and has been available since the Spring. The handlebar-attaching bracket is available soon and clamps the case securely to the bike via zipties.
The slimline Hard Case is highly protective, machined from aerospace-grade aluminium and features an internal suspension of silicone for shock protection. The Hard Case’s patented waterproofing technology meets IP68 standards, ensuring protection from heavy rain, snow, dirt, dust, sweat, and sand. The case weighs 86 grams.
The Hard Case allows full access to all iPhone features, including touchscreen, front and rear cameras, charge port, headphone port, and volume buttons. The included headphone cable adapter allows use of headphones with in-line remotes while still maintaining case waterproofness.
