£399.99 package the first to become available via distributor in exclusive agreement

I-ride has partnered with Spanish indoor training firm BKool to bring its flagship £399.99 Bcycling trainer package to the UK.

Available now, the Bcycling pacakge includes a front wheel raiser block, Ant+ cadence sensor, QR Skewer and ANT+ USB dongle, as well as a two month gold subscription to the Bkool website, normally ten Euros. Access to the online portal offers premium features such as multiplayer and using the more than 100+ streaming video routes.

The free subscription level provides many of the features including the use of the trainer software, smartphone app, interval session designer and online training diary (up to five sessions). There is also a midway Silver level priced at six euros and all monthly subscriptions can be reduced to the Free option with just one month notice, so there is no annual commitment.

“We didn’t realise just how far we could be drawn into turbo training, but once we started testing the BKOOL system, using our outdoor routes and competing against each other we were hooked” said Tom Marchment of i-ride.co.uk “We are working closely with retailers as this is a product which excites customers when they try it out and creates a buzz on the shop floor.”

I-ride are now interested in hearing from stores keen to become test centres for the product. There is also a stock-in package offered by i-ride that provides extended margins and a demo unit.

BKool have comprehensive videos which demonstrate how the elements of the system work and they, along with a full explanation of the system, can be seen at www.i-ride.co.uk/bkool.
