Bob Elliot reduces carriage paid service price

Lancashire-based distributor Bob Elliot has announced that as of this week, it will be offering a cheaper carriage paid service to offshore areas.

The carriage paid value will be reduced from £250.00 nett to £175.00 nett. Regions that will benefit from the change include the Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland.

"As part of our continued improvement to supporting off-shore customers, we secured a lower carriage-paid order value as of November 21st," Bob Elliot director Paul Elliot told BikeBiz. "We have always offered an efficient delivery time for our Northern Irish and Scottish Highland customer base. A customer can order and receive their purchase within 48 hours, generally. We’re pleased to introduce a more competitive carriage-paid order value now. These areas will continue to be serviced full-time by our area sales manager, who visits each customer between every two and three months. We will continue to provide a strong service, offer regular visits, and will strive to improve costs where possible on both products and carriage."

Bob Elliot has undergone a number of changes to its runnings over the last year. Its new warehouse has provided a 30 per cent expansion on floor space, allowing the distributor to bring in higher stock levels to service its growing customer-base. "We have just built new office space to allow for continued internal growth, offering more employment opportunities, and are integrating new software over the coming weeks to improve our website’s efficiency and allow more interaction between the dealer and the company 24-7," said Elliot. The distributor has also recruited a new eastern counties area sales manager, who will develop customer service in those regions.
