Bobbin opens Dutch bike-dedicated workshop

Retailer grows again with new workshop in October
Publish date:

Bobbin Bicycles is expanding again this October with a new workshop specialising in Dutch and hub-gearing bicycles.

The new premises are located round the corner for the current Bobbin HQ and will be staffed by Dutch bike aficionado Alexis, formerly of Workscycles in Amsterdam (and relocated to London specifically to work with Bobbin). Cycle Systems star graduate Laura will also staff the workshop, which will perform simple puncture repairs all the way through to servicing, customisation, conversion, re-sprays and more.

The BikeBiz Award nominated retailer, a specialist in vintage-style upright bikes and quirky accessories, was recently named 20th best shop in London by Time Out (Louise Vitton was 17th).

The new Workshop will also retail basics like lights, locks, reflective gear, handlebars, racks and grips. Space will also be dedicated to exhibit contemporary upright town rides from Globe and Gazelle.

The Bobbin workshop opens on Saturday October 16th.
