Pinarello-stockist Bicicielo of central Birmingham has converted a till station build-out into a bar for a coffee shop. It opens this weekend and joins the store's existing "internet beating" services, such as bike fitting and being the hub of an active cycling community. A lock-up will also open so customers can secure their (high-end) bikes when shopping or popping in for a coffee.

Bicicielo is on Temple Street, up from an Evans store, and is surrounded by financial and legal firms. The store has 100+ Pinarello bikes on the sales floor, including the new Dogma F8. The most expensive build to date has been a Pinarello for £11,500, without wheels.

Open for four years Bicicielo is owned by racer Andy Collis, formerly with the Pinarello RT/Rudy Project team. His father-in-law Mark Francis is part of the store's management team.

It's possible to visit Bicicielo virtually thanks to Google Maps
