The US rack manufacturing company - which is dealer direct in the US - produces bike racks compatible with suspension and disc brake-equipped MTBs. Carradice is a British manufacturer of bomb-proof bike bags and will have a booths at next week's Cycle 2003 show in London and October's Interbike in Las Vegas.

Carradice to distribute Old Man Mountain racks in UK

Old Man Mountain racks are made, by hand, in Santa Barbara. The company was started in 1996 by mountain bike enthusiasts who were frustrated at the lack of options for load carrying because their MTB frames had

suspension or lacked mounting points for traditional racks.

OMM racks affix with axle and brake-boss mounts. UK prices start from £44.95 retail for the White Rock rear rack up to £74.95 for the rear suspension, disc brake compatible Sherpa.
