Having built bespoke bicycles from its London store since 1948, Condor Cycles has earned its reputation from a rich history in team victories and great service to both professionals and amateur cyclists alike. As a result, the award of Independent Retailer of the Year, as voted by our panel of 50 industry judges, has gone to Condor.
Edinburgh Bicycle Co-op has been voted as the best specialist multiple in an increasingly competitive field. Perhaps the smallest of the specialist chains, the stores retain an independent feel, while offering customers the experience of trained mechanics and the extensive range expected in a multiples showroom. The chain is actively working to increase cycling by offering bike to work schemes to customers and boasting the best stock of bicycles in Scotland.
The award for Online Retailer of the year went to Chain Reaction Cycles, while Halfords was voted the Non-specialist Retailer of the Year.
The 50 industry judges will be revealed in the November issue of BikeBiz. For a full round up of the winners, see here.
