CSG UK will make its Bike Place debut next week at Silverstone, bringing new Point Of Sale materials and some special bikes to the show which runs Sunday January 26th to Tuesday 28th.
The head of CSG’s Global Merchandising programme is Daniel Cheyne, former creative director at Nike. Cheyne and his team have put together innovative brand merchandising solutions for the CSG brands with the UK rollout is planned for Spring. Ahead of that, the GT and Sugoi displays are being specially air freighted in to be shown at The Bike Place, CSG told BikeBiz.
CSG UK’s marketing manager Clive Gosling said: “We’re biting our nails here in the office as these items are pretty big and can get stuck in customs but fingers crossed we will have them in time. They are some of the best bike and clothing displays I’ve seen. They really highlight the brands and products in any environment. We will be putting them into select shops around the country in the coming months, the containers are in transit as we speak.”
CSG UK is also bringing a number of special bikes to the show including Rachel Atherton’s 2013 World Championship winning GT Fury. There will also be an exclusive first look at the all new GT Speed Series Carbon race BMX built with help from Chris King and Renthal.
Charge Bikes will be showing the full line including the new Cooker Maxi fat bike plus project bike collaborations with the Vans and Red Bull brands. Xposure will be showing limited edition ‘skull wrapped’ frames as well as the full product line.
Aside from the new Point Of Sale displays, Sugoi will be showing the Spring Summer line, plus there will be an exclusive look at the new Fall Winter Zap jacket; the 'world's most reflective bike jacket'. Covered in tiny glass beads to be fully reflective it retains its normal look and colour during the day.
