The CTC magazine is to be edited by a new team for the Y2K. Tim Hughes is replaced by editors from T.G. Scott, a London-based contract publishing firm.

The CTC has decided to place production of the magazine with an outside contract publisher with effect from the December/January issue. Consequently my current arrangement with the CTC comes to an end in mid-October, Hughes told BikeBiz.

While I am sufficiently occupied not to hang about on street corners making a nuisance of myself (and our little cycling and walking planning consultancy, Cleary Hughes Associates, is quite busy) I shall have, I trust, more time for other activities - particularly in the photography, writing or even editing/subbing fields.

Conrad Haigh, PRO for the CTC, said the change of editorial team doesn't mean the magazine wil change. "The content adn editorial slant stays the same," he told BikeBiz.
