Brand also rumoured to be working on a Vans collaboration BMX tyre

Cult launches licensed ‘The Simpsons’ Duff cruiser

BMX label Cult has revealed a licensed ‘Simpsons Duff’ 24-inch cruiser, according to product blog The Merged.

A series of complete bikes, each approved by Simpson’s director Matt Groening, could now follow with the Duffman beer cruiser and a Bart bike confirmed.

The limited edition collaboration reportedly came about while Twentieth Century Fox representatives were walking the isles of the Long Beach Agenda Trade Show and spotted Cult rep Adam L.Roye sporting a Simpsons tee.

Cult owner Robbie Morales said of the bikes: "Doing projects like this can only increase the publics view of BMX and get more people involved. Anyone who has seen the sample Duffs cruiser automatically wants one to cruise on, that is a good thing."

It is also rumoured that Cult are on the verge of showing a Vans Collaboration tyre, which could feature a chequered sidewall and ‘waffle’ tread. We expect more to emerge during Interbike.

The Merged also has an interview with Cult discussing the development of the label’s long-awaited freecoaster hub.
