Raleigh has announced the new SRAM NX 1x drivetrain, which brings the cost of upgrading to a 1x11 setup down to £251.

The SRAM NX 1x drivetrain includes a crankset with 8 different chain ring options, an NX X-Horizon rear derailleur, options for an NX trigger or grip shift both using SRAM's 1x X-Actuation. The 11-42t casette will fit onto a freehub body meaning there is no need for an XD hub, making it cheaper and easier to switch to a 1x drivetrain.

Bryan Harris, Raleigh UK SRAM Brand Manager said: "We're really excited about this drivetrain, the 1x11 upgrade has never been available at such great value and the SRAM NX 1x does this without compromising on quality."

Raleigh UK is taking pre-orders on the NX 1x drivetrain.
