Ahead of the retirement of its directors, wholesale business Mackadam Factors (1994) Ltd is up for sale, for £600,000.
Supplying the trade only, Mackadam Factors supplies retail outlets with bicycle spare parts and accessories in Wales, the border counties and the south and west of England.
The firm said: “The well established business has a very healthy client base of more than 100 customers and operates a delivery service for businesses in the area and a courier service for businesses that are further afield.
“The business prides itself on customer service and most of the orders are taken over the telephone from clients and with regular calls from the directors with whom they have a long standing relationship.
“The business can demonstrate a healthy profit margin and shows a strong net profit.”
The three directors have retirement in their sights and are the fourth owners with over 100 years’ service between them. They said they wish the business to continue past its centenary – it was established back in 1919.
The purchase will include stock,money in bank and debtors. The business is based in South Wales but can be relocated if required, they added.
