The 2013 Cyclepassion calendar is the eighth editon, as always produced by Anke Wilken of Germany. Daniel Geiger took the pix and Markus Neuert of Cyclefilm shot the behind-the-scenes videos.
"Daniel had a fantastic idea," said Wilken. "We made separate photos from the athletes and different bike parts, putting together to one photo later. Changing the sizes of the bike parts, this needed a lot of attention on flash lights, reflecting shadows, sharpness and posture."
Wilken said the scantily-clan shots of the riders are "sexy yet tasteful. The reverse sides of the monthly pages feature shots of the riders in action.
The riders for the 2013 calendar are from the disciplines of MTB, road and tri and include Julia Innerhofer, Barbara Benkó, Anneke Beerten, Sonya Looney, Irina Kirchler, Kristina Vogel, and Nadine Rieder.
