Dennis won two awards at the British Media Awards

Cyclist mag publisher wins Media Company of the Year

Dennis, publisher of Cyclist and BikesEtc, has won Media Company of the Year at the British Media Awards 2016.

The firm also won Launch of the Year (for The Week Junior) and scored a number of silver and bronze awards.

Dennis Publishing CEO James Tye said: “The last 12 months have been pretty busy here at Dennis, we launched seven new products in 2015 including The Week Junior, Alphr.com and Coach and I’m delighted that they are being recognised with big wins at this year’s British Media Awards.

“Picking up the prize for Media Company of the Year is pretty special for us. It reflects all the hard work that every single person here at Dennis has put in to move us forward and keep us successful. But we’re not sitting still in 2016.”

Meanwhile Cyclist magazine has been nominated for Specialist Consumer Mag and International Consumer Media Brand at the 2016 PPA Awards. The winners will be announced June 2016.

Ad director Sean Igoe said: “We are again really pleased with the recognition from the publishing world, the brand just keeps on going from strength-to-strength. After the great success of our first event The Cyclist Track day and other projects looming we are excited with the months and years ahead.”
