Dean Downing is getting behind Romster Bike Wear - a casual clothing company set up by Andy Liversidge.

Targetted at the road enthusiast, Romster makes clothing for men, women and kids with a design influence from cycling icons past and present.

During July, Romster was awarded the winner of the Theo Paphitis, of Dragon’s Den fame, Small Business Sunday (#sbs). The competition is open to all small online business and the winners are handpicked by Theo himself. The selection was based on our successful use of social media and an 'uncompromising approach to customer service'. A no questions money back service is available on all purchases.

Downing said of his partnership with Romster: “After knowing Andy for several years it made sense to get involved when we discussed the possibility over a coffee one evening. He’s a good guy and a friend, I think he can make a real success of his brand. I initially helped him out with a few tweets on Twitter here and there and then we discussed an option of making it more official. We both agreed on how we would move forward, shook hands and then got to work. The brands designs are great, particularly the Tommy Simpson range which is close to home. I’ll hopefully be able to help the guys out with a few ideas and give insight and information on big races, which will hopefully lead to new designs and then products for market. If you like cycling get one on your Christmas list.”

Romster Bike Wear has seen support from famous names in and out of the sport of cycling, such as Tim Lovejoy, the channel 4 presenter of Sunday Brunch and cycling legend Ijlo Keisse.
