DfT’s Cycling & Walking Strategy launch postponed due to London attack

The Department for Transport was due to unveil its long-awaited Cycling and Walking Strategy today, but due to Wednesday’s terrorist attack in Westminster it has been postponed. CWIS – known as cee-whizz – will now be launched some time after March 30th, during the parliamentary recess.

Cycling organisations such as British Cycling, Cycling UK, Sustrans and others – as well as pedestrian organisations such as Living Streets – were due to attend a strategy launch event in parliament.
