Electra Bicycle Company has been revealed as Platinum Partner of the 2011 BikeBiz Awards.
The bicycle brand, headquartered in California, is distributed in 25 countries, with Surf Sales handling the UK market. The brand has a ‘simple and fun’ mantra that sees it create bikes offering style, comfort, performance and control to riders.
Surf Sales managing director Graeme Fuller said: “We’re very happy to support the BikeBiz Awards. Our ethos is all about being dedicated to supporting independent retailers and we’re pleased to see the awards recognise the efforts of independents as well as support the achievements of the wider industry.”
Electra Bicycle Company is the latest company to get behind the awards – Citrus-Lime, Koga Bicycles and Cycle-SOS are 2011 Event Partners.
This year the BikeBiz Awards will take place at the Hilton Metropole, NEC, Birmingham on Wednesday September 28th, the evening before the Cycle Show begins.
The lobbying period is now over and the finalists will be revealed very soon.
