BioKork grip offers great vibration damping and antibacterial qualities

Ergon unveils cork grips

Ergon’s GreenLab project bore fruit at Interbike in the form of the BioKork grip.

Made from cork, 40 per cent of the grip’s mass comes from a sustainable source in Portugal. The soft material offers fantastic vibration damping, as well as antibacterial qualities, so is an ideal material for a grip.

Embedded within the cork is gel insert manufactured from vegetable oil, further adding to the grips eco-credentials. The lock-on end cap is also made from fully recyclable aluminium.
